At MD Aesthetics, filler treatments are done by doctor! The area to be treated is numbed up good so you don’t feel pain during the actual filler treatment. In order to substantially reduce any possibility of bruising, certain areas, such as lips, are commonly injected with fine microcannulas- not needle. CO₂ (carbon dioxide) lasers emit light that is strongly absorbed by water—the primary component of living tissue. Immediately after treatment, the skin may appear red, similar to a sunburn. Healing typically occurs over the following few days, much like recovery from a moderate sunburn in most cases.
Botulinum toxin Type A, when injected into the muscles, results in temporary relaxation and inactivity of the muscles for a period of few months. For facial aesthetics, the injections are placed into the muscles of expression, mostly situated in the upper half of the face. The treatment could help to smooth out the horizontal lines of forehead, vertical lines of glabella (11-lines), as well as to soften the crows feet lines at the sides of eyes. Dysport is a non-surgical, injectable treatment used to smooth and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It is made of Botulinum toxin Type A, which works by temporarily relaxing the muscles beneath the face.
